12.- Nueva versión de NX NASTRAN V8.0

Hola!,
Es un placer anunciar el lanzamiento y disponibilidad para descarga de NX Nastran 8.0 desde http://ftp.ugs.com/download.php, una nueva versión del solver NX Nastran de Análisis por Elementos Finitos (FEA) desarrollado por SIEMENS PLM que viene con un montón de avances importantes y corrección de errores.

La lista completa de mejoras las podréis encontrar tras la instalación del software en el fichero “NX Nastran 8.0 Release Guide“.  Aquí os dejo un breve adelanto:

   Dynamics …

  • Residual vector options placed in the case control and more options provided.
  • Reciprocal panel contributions added to give panel contributions for structural response due to an acoustic excitation.
  • Modal contributions for acoustic response can be further subdivided into     modal contributions by panels.
  • Mode selection control (MODSEL) enabled to operate on subcase level.
  • The TZERO option for transient initial conditions extended to support direct transient solution (SOL 109) and differential stiffness.
  • Flex body export (MBDEXPORT) for the state-space format extended to give    acceleration response variables in addition to the existing displacement and velocity response variables.
  • Improved accuracy for solutions with frequency dependent element stiffness     and modal damping.

   Elements …

  • Support linear and parabolic plane stress (CPLSTSx) and plane strain elements (CPLSTNx) in more solutions.
  • New 2D edge load support.

  • Pyramid elements (CPYRAM) can be used with hyperelastic materials in SOL 106 and 129.
  • Support composite material definitions for solid Hex and Penta elements.

  • External superelement geometry written to system OP2 file to support  post-processing in NX.
  • Control of loads on external superelements improved for the system analysis.
  • DOF definition for external superelements in SOL101 made consistent with SOL 103.

  • Improved accuracy for contact pressure output.

   Glue …

  • Glue traction output supported.
  • Improved accuracy for connected surfaces with very small separation.

  • Support direct input of stiffness and mass matrices with DMIG input.

  • As communicated previously NX NASTRAN 7.0 ends the support of the

  • Support for SGI IRIX was discontinued with the NX NASTRAN 6.0 release

4.- Mallado con Elementos Hexaédricos (HEX Meshing-II)

Hola!,
En esta nueva entrada trato de explicar los conceptos básicos del mallado con hexaedros en FEMAP V10.2, a veces es mejor empezar por lo más sencillo para asegurarnos que se entienden bien las cosas.

2.- Reparación de Geometría en FEMAP V10.2

Este vídeo enseña técnicas de FEMAP para corregir y reparar geometría. En este caso se trata de importar un modelo CAD 3D sólido de un pistón en formato STEP que presenta bordes libres y pérdida de geometría, es decir, el “sólido” es una colección de caras sueltas. Con las herramientas de creación de geometría de FEMAP V10.2 se reconstruye el pistón, se cose para crear un sólido 3D y finalmente se malla con elementos sólidos 3D tetraédricos de alto orden. Espero que os guste!!.
